ELEMENTARY:
The course teaches professional dubbing by use of the soudlibrary of Logic. The procedure enables copyright independence.
Contents:
Music and sound as mood-creating elements.
Technical and artistic foundations of composing, arranging and producing musical structures on motion pictures. The term: »Music» is also interpreted as »Sound- and Noise Structure».
Relevant Application (Digital Audio Workstation): Logic
Musical previous knowledge is not required !
Subsequent to this lecture it is possible to expand the existing knowledge by addiding »Microphoning and Sound Synthesis» , see:
ADVANCED:
Description: EXPERIMENTAL (!) SOUND DESIGN
VOICE/SOUND – RECORDING, SYNTHESIZER.
How do I record speech and sounds correctly and how do I edit them for film, video, “Massive Open Online Communication” and social media? When do you need mono and when stereo microphonics. Relevant programme / Digital Audio Workstation (DAW): Logic.
Practical introduction to synthetic sound production
Teaching Objective: Dubbing a short video in Logic. The knowledge acquired in the elementary course is supplemented by the above-mentioned contents.
All students must have completed: Tonkomposition für Kurzfilm und Video – elementary
Comments
Knowledge is partly imparted via online videos, which ensures maximum flexibility. Feedback and progress take place in physical presence. The exact course of the lecture will be sufficiently explained in the preliminary meeting. Therefore, the preliminary meeting is obligatory for all participants !
The workstations in the Videostudio remain available. Therefore it is obligatory to join the preliminary meeting (from start to finish) !
