Six Units per Semester

In this seminar, we will work on creating a video portrait. Who or what you portray – a person, an object, a company – you can decide for yourself. The concept for each video portrait will be developed in the first two units. The next three units will be post-production sessions, where we will edit and finalize the video.

The goal of the seminar is to independently create and edit a video, work in a structured manner, and create a final product in a targeted timescale.

The focus of the course is set on independent work – from project management to compiling and editing the material.

All video portraits created during the semester will be presented and discussed in the last unit.

The following Video is a short trailer of the works that have been created during this course:

Additional Remarks

The entire content of the seminar, including examples, will be presented in the preliminary meeting. – therefore, attendance at the preliminary meeting is mandatory.

The next two units (concept discussion and 1. Post-Production Session) are also mandatory. Since these are individual meetings, alternative appointments are possible in some cases.
